R2D2 Interactive Review
I recently bought the R2D2 Interactive Droid that is based on Star Wars’ famous robot R2-D2. And here is my honest review of R2D2 Droid.
R2D2 Interactive recognizes my movement using a high quality sensor inside the toy robot. It recognizes my speech (40 commands in total) and responds/performs a specific action in return. The robot also has some unlisted secret commands that I’ll tell you about in this r2d2 review. The robot is very entertaining to all age groups, especially to Star Wars fans, obviously. The manufacturer claims that it’s for ages 8+. Even my 2 year old daughter LOVES it when R2 plays music and dances to it. You will see that when I upload a video about that very soon. So, keep checking back
Here are a list of the 40 official commands from the Hasbro website:
Features:
- life sized robot (over 15 inches tall)
- His arm works as a cup holder
- Protects/Guards my room using his high quality sensor.
- Plays games with me (ie. tag)
- spins around and dances to music
- uses normal batteries (4 “AA”, and 4 “D” batteries)
I have heard that there are some “secret” commands that were not made public by Hasbro. So far I have found out one one the top secret unlisted commands (YAY!
) It’s “Follow Me” and R2 will follow me around. Also “Come here” does the same thing and both are unlisted commands.
Another secret unlisted action is when I asded R2D2: “Do you remember Darth Vadar?” He screems, then I ask him the follow up question: “Do you remember Anakin?” He will do the Imperial March, which is a secret action.
If only there was a “Vacuum” command…
